Our martial arts after-school care program is a great alternative for childcare in the Richmond, Virginia area. In keeping with our family-like atmosphere approach, we are proud to have a 1:8 teacher to student ratio. As a result, our activities are highly structured, systematic, and organized to meet the needs of all students. There is not much time for "free play." Our after school program starts from 2:10 - 6:00 Monday - Friday. We teach our students self-control, discipline, and respect. It is our goal that your child will transfer the skills mastered in our after school program to home and within the community. ACK's family like atmosphere represents the investment we have in your child while in our care.

Our after school program is run by Sensei Katrina Van Auker, co-owner of ACK. She trains all after-school program staff personally to ensure your child is in a safe and nurturing environment.
